Renowned producer, composer and entrepreneur, SID 'UNCLE JAMZ' JOHNSON of MECAP Music & Entertainment is responsible for bringing international attention to the '70s R&B group Manchild (whose line-up included Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds, Daryl Simmons and Reggie Griffin) as the co-producer and writer of tracks on 1977's "Power And Love" album.  The co-writer of the timeless classics "Slow Jam" (for Midnight Star) and "Two Occasions" (for The Deele), Sid's songs have been recorded by The Boyz, Dynasty, Next and Mariah Carey, who included re-sung elements of "Two Occasions" in her massive 2005 global hit, "We Belong Together" resulting in two Grammy Awards for 'Uncle Jamz'; while "Slow Jam" was covered by Usher & Monica for the "Soul Food" soundtrack in 1997 and has been sampled as has "Two Occasions" and other Sid Johnson compositions by numerous rap and hip-hop artists.
