Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills Prepare for Verzuz Battle

The livestream music series, created by hip-hop producers Timbaland and Swizz Beatz in 2020 as a friendly competition during COVID-19 quarantine, has become a phenomenon, with rap and soul artists and producers meeting up regularly to share their favorite hits and the stories behind them. Past meet-ups include Earth, Wind & Fire and The Isley Brothers, Keith Sweat and Bobby Brown, and Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle.

On Thursday, Nov. 18, Khan and Mills will take the stage at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles to showcase the best of their material, among them a total of 35 Top 10 R&B hits in America. Local fans can purchase tickets, and the event will be streamed live starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
