Award-winning producer/songwriter Daryl Simmons – whose extensive credits include recordings by Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Destiny’s Child, Johnny Gill, Bobby Brown, Pink and Boyz II Men (whose global hit, “End Of Our Road” garnered Daryl a Grammy Award for “Best R&B Song”) – presents the album, “Christmas With You,” a November 2022 collection of original songs.
A SoulMusic Hall Of Fame inductee, Daryl notes, “As a songwriter it has always been a dream of mine to create my own Christmas music. I have written and recorded Christmas music for many artists over my career, so I decided that it was the perfect time in my life to finally put a Christmas album together. I have many special, dear, and talented friends who have sung background vocals or demos for many of the big artists I’ve worked with over the years. I asked a few of them to join me in making this Christmas album come to life. You’ve heard their voices on many of my records but only in the background. Now you will get to hear them shine individually front and center! I am extremely happy to have my wonderful and creative kids, Dary’el, DJ, and Hope along with my big brother Dave contribute to this amazing project.
