SOULMUSIC RECORDS in association with PLATINUM GARAGE RECORDINGS proudly announces the perfect timing digital release of a brand new remix of “Now That We Found Love” (also known as “Now That We’ve Found Love”) – one of the primary tracks on the “Philly Soul Select” compilation – by acclaimed saxophonist Jermaine Lockhart and features vocals by Charity….
The Preston Glass-produced ‘Brotherly Love Remix’ brings additional excitement to the track which is the opening cut on “Philly Soul Select,” the recently-released “Philly Soul Select” compilation, a 12-track digital release celebrating the wonderful music associated with the ‘City Of Brotherly Love.’
“Philly Soul Select” was conceived by award-winning producer/songwriter Preston Glass (who started his professional career with the legendary Philadelphia producer/songwriter Thom Bell as his mentor) and David Nathan (who championed the many influential producers, songwriters, artists and musicians to come out of Philadelphia through his work as a British music journalist in the ‘70s and beyond).
“Now That We Found Love” was written by Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff, the founders of Philadelphia International Records and was originally recorded by The O’Jays for PIR in 1973; subsequently, it has been recorded by several other artists including Third World, Martha Reeves, Heavy D. & The Boyz and Thelma Jones, among others.
With the 2020 release of “The Sunshine Album” (on SoulMusic Records, in association with Platinum Garage Recordings), Arizona-based saxman Jermaine Lockhart received much critical acclaim and included the UK soul charted tracks “Back To The Sunshine” and “Perfect Timing.”
“Now That We’ve Found Love (Brotherly Love Remix)” is available worldwide on all major digital platforms, distributed by Warner X.
