The ever-soulful SHIRLEY JONES proudly displays her SoulMusic Hall Of Fame induction certificate in the category “Female Artist” along with the certificate presented to her in London in 2019 on behalf of herself and her sisters Brenda & Valorie, The Jones Girls inducted in the ‘Group’ category
Known for her own solo hits – notably 1986’s US R&B chart-topping “Do You Get Enough Love?” as well as “Last Night I Needed Somebody” and “She Knew About Me” – along with classics recorded with her late sisters Brenda and Valorie, as members of The Jones Girls, including “Nights Over Egypt,” “You’re Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else” and “I Just Love The Man,” Detroit-born Shirley Jones has long been a favourite among audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. We congratulate Shirley on her much-deserved induction into The SoulMusic Hall Of Fame by popular vote in 2020!
