The latest release from SoulMusic Records-Digital in association with Platinum Garage Recordings features L.A.-based soul/gospel artist Takim with an upbeat Philly soul groove, “Say It Like You Mean It”….
A Los Angeles native who has been a pillar and pioneer in his community, Takim’s been an intricate part of the 80’s and 90’s L.A. hip-hop scene and a minister dedicated to changing lives. In 2021, Takim came to the attention of award-winning music man Preston Glass and working with Chrisian Belnavis of Seepin Ventures, they’ve collaborated on a wonderful Philly soul groove, “Say It Like You Mean It,” a great musical vehicle for Takim’s smooth and soulful sound. Released as a single on December 10, 2021, the track is featured on the November 2021 compilation, “Philly Soul Select, Vol. 2.”
