Known for such ’70s hits as “Give Me Just A Little More Time,” “(You’ve Got Me) Dangling On A String,” “Everything’s Tuesday” and “Patches,” Chairmen Of The Board were among the mainstay groups at Invictus Records, the label started by former Motown producers Holland-Dozier-Holland in the late ’60s. Original members General Johnson, Danny Woods and Harrison Kennedy stayed together until 1976; Johnson reformed the group with Ken Knox and Danny Woods in 1978 and the trio continued to tour internationally until 2010 when General Johnson passed; in 2018, Woods passed and since then Ken Knox, Brandon Stevens and Thomas Hunter have continued to perform, keeping the vibrant legacy of Chairmen Of The Board alive.
