Perpetual Gold Recordings in association with SoulMusic Records-Digital is thrilled to present the second release in a series of compilations under the banner, “Deep Soul.”
Entitled “A Tribute To Stevie – “Adventures In Wonderland,” this collection focuses on Stevie Wonder as a songwriter.
With a diverse range of artists including Lenny Williams, Jody Watley and Grady Harrell, this inspiring set features soulful interpretations of classics from the Wonder songbook including “To Know You Is To Love You,” “I Was Made To Love Her,” “My Cherie Amour,” “You Met Your Match,” “I Can’t Help It” and “Higher Ground.”
Across his illustrious career, Stevie Wonder has written some of the most memorable and enduring songs spanning multiple generations, with tunes such as “Love’s In Need Of Love Today” and “Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away” which are as topical and relevant now as ever.
Producer Preston Glass writes: “As a songwriter, Stevie has influenced me greatly. As a producer, I recently realized that over the years I’ve produced and arranged more of his songs than those of any other composer. I assembled many of those productions here in this collection.”
Enjoy!
